How your potential customers access the images on your dealership’s website matters, which is why our latest update features adds an additional option for photo display! You can now choose between two photo viewing experiences:
- Open Photos in a New Page (Great for Sharing): When a customer clicks on a vehicle photo, it opens in a separate page with a unique link. This makes it easy for them to copy and share that exact view with others.
- Full-Screen Photo Viewer (Seamless Browsing): Photos open in a full-screen viewer right on the page, allowing customers to easily scroll through images without leaving the vehicle listing.
Both options are available across all website themes and can be turned on in your WordPress settings.
How to Edit the VDP Photo Gallery Display
Follow these steps to access photo gallery settings:
- Log in to WordPress
- Go to V4 Inventory > VDP > Photo Gallery Options
- Set the toggle “Enable Gallery Photo Flow” to Yes
- Select between "Scrollable List (open in new tab),” which opens the photos in a new tab with an easy-to-share URL, and “Scrollable List (modal),” which uses the same component used on the default theme
